Referring Students for Help - Western's Care Team

Western Counseling and Case Management Professionals provide supportive counseling services to students who are struggling with personal issues. 加拿大28strengths-based, 整体, wrap-around service model is designed to promote resilience, well-being and student retention at the College. 作为一个部门, we believe that students possess the ability and courage to move themselves forward when provided the environment and support necessary to do so.

加拿大28的 情况下经理 will continue to triage students to the most appropriate personnel at the College or in the community based on the presenting issue. Following a brief intake conversation, the CM will help coordinate services in an attempt to keep the student on track to meet their goals at the College. Examples of non-学术, life situations that may necessitate a referral to outsides agencies include:

  • Financial hardships/insecurities

  • Involvement with multiple external service agencies
